The mission of the Friendship Connection (FC) program of Clay County is to connect individuals with programs and resources that promote personal growth, self‑esteem, self‑worth, and positive self‑image. Friendship Connection is the ministry arm of the First Church of God in Flora, serving the community through compassionate support and relationship‑centered outreach.

Friendship Connection offers a variety of programs designed to support individuals and families, including Employment Readiness (Bridge Classes), Celebrate Recovery, literacy education, life coaching, High School Diploma completion, Emotional Intelligence training, and Family Reunification services. In addition to these programs, Friendship Connection provides connections to community resources and fosters meaningful, long‑term relationships, offering participants a supportive environment where lasting friendships can grow.
